- ADDITIONAL PROTECTION: The purpose of this snorkel kit is to supply clean, dry air to the engine and other venting parts on ATVs such as clutches, differentials, transmission, carburetors, and fuel tanks. It should be noted that this does not necessarily mean the ATV should surpass the maximum water line depth stated by the original equipment (OE) manufacturer. The snorkel kit is designed to offer extra protection in case the ATV is unintentionally driven into water that is deeper than the air intakes allowed by the OE manufacturer.
